Student Volunteers to WPRF chosen

The World PR Forum is approaching and the preparatory work is in progress. Now eight student volunteers have been chosen to help make this year’s communications event as great as possible.

Austrian Barbara Kaiser is one of those who will host the participants and speakers. She is currently studying on  renowned MA programme “International Public Relations at Cardiff University, Wales.

- Our  course leader Elliot Pill recommended  the conference to us students. I found the program, topics and speakers were very interesting. And it’s great that I can do so as a volunteer, says Barbara.
Henrik Killander is studying Media and Communication at Lund University, Sweden, and will also be one of the volunteers.

- I applied because of the opportunity to be a part of the event and be present when new knowledge is discussed and presented. It will be exciting to see how the industry defines itself by the Stockholm Accords, says Henrik.

- It feels great that Klaus Schwab will participate. In general it seems to be exciting and engaging speakers who can inspire. I am also looking forward to meet future colleagues, he says.

For Barbara, it will be the first time she visits Sweden.

 - I especially look forward to Anne Gregory’s lecture as her publications have accompanied us throughout the course. I am eager to learn more about the industry and its future from leading PR experts. And at the same time I get the opportunity to visit the Stockholm – The Venice of the North , she says.
Other students who will be working during the World Public Relations Forum are Emma Svensson, Lianne Elias, Aurelia Pavel, Susanna Helsing, Elin Persson and Fredrik Nilsson.
The competitions for volunteer spots have been hard and the Swedish Public Relations Association is very grateful to you all who applied.
